1. Information We Collect

When you use StackDNA, we collect:

• Account information: email address and password (hashed).
• Genetic data: raw DNA file you upload from 23andMe, AncestryDNA, or similar services.
• Health information: responses to our health interview (goals, symptoms, medications, etc.).
• Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited).

2. How We Use Your Data

• To generate your personalized genomic report.
• To send you your report via email.
• To process payments.
• To improve our service.

3. Data Retention

Raw DNA files are deleted within 30 days of report generation. Your report and account data are retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of all your data at any time.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your genetic data with third parties. We use the following service providers to operate StackDNA:

• Stripe for payment processing.
• Cloudflare for file storage and CDN.
• Fly.io for application hosting.
• Anthropic for AI-powered report generation.

5. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Access to genetic data is strictly limited to the automated report generation process.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data.
• Download your data.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Opt out of marketing communications.
